In 2019 Maars, the global leader in demountable and relocatable partition systems, was welcomed into the Herman Miller family of companies. It was only a matter of time as Herman Miller’s largest dealer partner, outside of North America, that Tsunami Axis formed a new and exciting partnership with them.

Founded in 1946, Maars has steadily grown into the Global market leader in flexible partition wall systems offering innovative customer driven solutions to over 65 countries. Their international reach and broad product range allows them to service every type of commercial interior from offices and healthcare through to hospitality and education across the globe. This combined with Tsunami Axis’ service offering including; design, project management, logistics and day two service, forms a strong and stable international partnership that can deliver.

Maars’ 43,000sqft ultra-modern production facility in Harderwijk, the Netherlands, perfectly places them to integrate the latest technologies, materials and techniques into its production and products. With a reputation for continuous innovation, quality and satisfied customers, Maars ships over one million sqm of systems partition annually, of which 80% is exported globally. Similarly Tsunami Axis’ has continued to expand with offices in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Luxemburg and Frankfurt as well as logistics centres in Cambridgeshire and Luxemburg. This allows us to uniquely support Maars’ manufacturing expertise with our 11 strong design team, 14 strong project management team and in-house logistics effort, which won us the queens award for international trade.

Both Tsunami Axis and Maars are accredited to the highest level achieving ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001, with a strong focus on sustainable and ethical manufacturing, design and logistics. This also covers FSC certification and zero to landfill waste management allowing our team to contribute to a higher BREEAM and LEED score.
