Brabners

Brabners wanted a space that would embrace agile working and create a modern collaborative office environment.

Collaboration

To achieve this, Andrew Huckerby from Tsunami Axis, along with project managers Clive Mullet and Steve Pittaway, closely collaborated with Alan Lloyd from Brabners, Howard Powsney from Incognito, and Nicholas Platt from Knight Frank. They ensured that the furniture was sustainably sourced from UK-based businesses, within budgets, and completed on time.

The Results

Howard Powsney, director at Incognito, led the interior design, drawing inspiration from its namesake, British conductor John Barbirolli. The design features sweeping curves in the joinery detailing and sound waves throughout the interior. It provides flexible work settings for collaboration and social spaces, as well as quiet, low frequency zones for focused work.

Howard Powsney noted, "The office can still be a valuable place to engage with clients, bring teams together and attract talent of the highest order... there is a bright future ahead as its purpose and definition evolves to meet the changing needs of the workforce."

We had three projects on the boil within the space of one year, we were relocating in Lancashire and Manchester and opening a new office space in Leeds. With Manchester being the largest project of the three, we engaged with Tsunami during the tender process for that project. Without question, they were head and shoulders above the rest in terms of quality and price and we decided to go with Tsunami for all three projects to ensure continuity of product and quality in all three locations. The standard of service was exceptional, and any minor hiccups encountered were dealt with swiftly and professionally. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tsunami, they delivered on time, on budget and with excellent service throughout.
