Tsunami-Axis were appointed to carry out the furniture install on Level 2 of this clients address earlier this year. The site was open for less than a couple of weeks before the pandemic hit so there was an immediate requirement to make changes.
Tsunami were asked to move, store and adapt Level 2 to make it as safe as possible for those that needed the space. Tsunami were able to help straight away with this and make the appropriate changes that were required.
The Global Investment Firm acquired Level 1 in the same building and due to Tsunami-Axis’s successful previous install, they were then also appointed to move, purchase, and install furniture on this floor too. Tsunami worked closely with Icon, the screens company to design, move, adapt and re-use where possible to create a COVID suitable safe space to meet the client’s requirements, which was paramount during the pandemic. What makes the screens such a clever design is that they can be ‘added on’ and ‘removed’ without permanent impact and therefore adapt to company variations for the future.
This is something we will see more in future product design.
