Lumacron

Tsunami Axis is delighted to have played a pivotal role in furnishing Lumacron Technology's new European headquarters at 4-5 Lochside Avenue in Edinburgh Park. Collaborating seamlessly with Form Design Consultants, we actively contributed to the creation of a workspace that not only aligns with Lumacron's innovative business culture but also offers an inviting and dynamic setting for their expanding team.

The Brief

The design brief called for an industrial and vibrant atmosphere, fostering internal communication and accommodating future growth. Additionally, the workspace was envisioned to support a balance between work, play, and wellness, incorporating lifestyle driven elements such as a ping pong table, darts board, golf simulator, and a mothering room.

Design Collaboration

Our in-house design team played a crucial role, providing Look Books, Fabrics and Finishes Workshops, and furniture overlay drawings to fine-tune the final selection. Through close communication and coordination, we proposed items that not only met Form Design's interior specifications but also navigated any project restrictions effectively, ensuring that our furniture choices seamlessly integrated with the overall design aesthetic.

Furniture Choices

In the open office spaces, the distinctive Herman Miller Sayl chair was selected to enhance the industrial aesthetic, its design by Yves Behar was heavily influenced by the Golden Gate Bridge. In contrast to this, the Biophilic accommodation by Form Design Consultants softens the environments, with pieces from Boss Design, Inclass and Pedrali all complementing this vision. Acoustic applications in their different forms serve to define areas and ensure members of the Lumacron teams have choice for their working environments.

Success and Impact

The result is an office space that not only meets Lumacron's functional requirements but also embodies their dynamic and innovative spirit. The carefully selected furniture complements the industrial aesthetic while providing a comfortable and flexible environment for work and relaxation. Tsunami Axis is proud to have contributed to the success of Lumacron Technology's European headquarters, creating a workspace that reflects their ethos and supports their future endeavours.
