Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair has firmly established itself as the must-see furniture show of the year bringing together over 700 innovative companies in Sweden’s buzzing capital city. February 2018 was no disappointment with the fair full to bursting point with the latest innovations in interior design and lighting. We’ve pulled together our favourite pieces in a single downloadable presentation and selected the best bits for your consideration below.

Eve by Fredericia

As ever, Fredericia brought an air of elegance with their latest collection, including the Eve lounge chair, designed by Finland’s Timo Ripatti. It comes both upholstered or with a wooden seat, in natural or in a choice of stains including black.

Hoop by Zero

At 623mm wide and 650mm high, Hoop has a presence. The aluminium hoop comes in three colours (others on application) while the inner shade is in matt opal glass.

Hangaround by Isku

A bit of fun from Isku, inspired by the need for our bodies to move while sedentary. It certainly drew the crowds at the show.

BABA by Jotjot

Available in a 1, 2 or 3-seater, BABA is described as a furniture pat that you can snuggle up to. At present only in one fabric but the company is working on COM.

Campfire by Mitab

Comprising 6 pieces, the collection offers a variety of informal settings for nomadic working… a space where people can just pull up and collaborate as if round a campfire.

Eva by Ire

A high-back armchair with a bit of character, Eva was designed by the Broberg and Riddedrstrale studio, regular designers for Asplund. The arms and headrest are covered in leather, which contrasts with the fabric interior and outer.

LAB Soundsticks by Offect

Each year Offecct offer up ‘Lab’ products – new designs, materials and ideas shown to gauge the industry’s reaction. This year they developed Soundsticks alongside designer Andrea Ruggiero. The structure consists of paperboard tubes − leftovers from upholstery fabric rolls – which are wrapped in sound-absorbing acoustic felt made of reclaimed textile scraps.

Continuing the trend of pure geometrics comes this floorstanding lamp which also comes as a table lamp.
