For Houlihan Lokey in London, the Mayfair-based investment bank appointed Tsunami Axis as furniture consultants to create a specification for its new consolidated HQ, delivering a 50,000 sq ft fit-out over 12 months for 500 end users with a brief to create a world-class interior.

At Houlihan Lokey, Tsunami Axis provided bespoke options for private offices, a client suite of meeting rooms including a 9m Corian boardroom table, full AV integration and a custom sit-stand desking solution, as well as the breakout and support areas, sourced through project supply partners including DAS Desking, Herman Miller, JCL Workbench, Maine, ICF, Knoll, Walter Knoll, Muuto and Viccarbe.
Furniture Solutions
The team tendered the extensive client suite meeting table requirement to three suppliers to secure best value, and sourced 200 client-facing meeting chairs that delivered the required world-class aesthetic at significantly greater cost-effectiveness than the chairs originally specified. For the high-end stained oak and Fenix private offices, Tsunami Axis achieved considerable savings by using a supplier manufacturing in Slovenia. As Houlihan Lokey moved from a highly cellularised environment to a predominantly open-plan office, the team designed a bespoke desk screen system that enveloped the user, achieving both privacy and accessibility, with ongoing design and consultation work continuing to accommodate the bank’s expansion.
