A leading global investment bank relocated to their new office in Frankfurt’s landmark Marienturm tower. The goal was to create a European workspace that reflected the bank’s established US design standards without compromising quality, consistency, or detail.
A Transatlantic Design Vision
The design vision for the 21,500 sqft workspace was shaped through collaboration between US and German interior architects, CSMM GmbH. Our role was to procure furniture that brought this vision to life. A critical requirement was aligning EU-sourced products with US-specified finishes, which demanded close coordination across global teams and a rigorous approval process.
Tailored Solutions
A key project success was the delivery of bespoke boardroom tables featuring carefully selected marble tops. This selection process included quarry visits, stone block photography, and final approvals from the US design team. We worked closely with MillerKnoll to tailor solutions that fit the design intent.
In addition, we worked closely with an Italian leather manufacturer and European textile and finish suppliers to match the client’s US finish standards, sourcing European equivalents and managing cross-continental sample approvals.
Furniture selection was carefully tailored to support both client-facing areas and private workspaces. Highlights included bespoke Knoll workwalls in executive offices, customised in size, finish, and configuration.
Refined Delivery
Despite the complexity of the specification and multi-stage approvals, the project was delivered smoothly and to a high standard. The client expressed strong satisfaction at handover and continues to share positive feedback.
This project reinforces Tsunami Axis’s capability to deliver brand-aligned, high-specification environments across geographies — bridging regional constraints with global design intent.
