Designed by Form DC, the new Pinsent Masons Glasgow office consolidates teams into a refreshed workplace that creates an engaging environment where people can come together to work, collaborate and connect. Working alongside the wider project team, Tsunami Axis delivered the furniture procurement, technical coordination and installation, ensuring every element of the design was delivered to the highest standard.
Turning Design into Reality
Working to Form DC’s design vision, we procured and coordinated a furniture scheme that balanced premium finishes with warmth and comfort. Natural materials, organic shapes and a soft colour palette helped create an inviting environment, while high quality meeting spaces supported everything from formal client meetings to everyday collaboration.
From statement boardroom tables to an eight metre concierge lounge featuring the Ocee & Four Design Bloom sofa, complemented by +Halle seating and modular ICONS Blox banquette seating with a terrazzo finish, every piece was carefully coordinated to realise the design intent. The welcoming arrival space sets the tone for the workplace, while collaborative settings encourage conversation, connection and flexibility throughout.
Community Hub
At the heart of the office sits the community hub, where furniture, lighting and artwork combine to create a true destination space. Designed around the bespoke Onwards & Upwards installation, paying tribute to a much respected Pinsent Masons partner, the furniture was carefully selected and positioned to enhance the feature rather than compete with it. Flexible lounge seating creates an environment that supports everything from informal conversations and quiet reflection to larger gatherings and client events, allowing the space to adapt throughout the working day.
Extending the Life of Existing Assets
Sustainability was embedded throughout the project. Existing furniture was retained wherever possible, while desking and canteen furniture were redistributed to Pinsent Masons’ Birmingham office, extending the life of valuable assets across the wider estate.
Material choices also supported the project’s environmental ambitions, with low impact fabrics selected throughout the scheme. A standout feature was a Plank tabletop crafted from reclaimed military uniforms, demonstrating how circular design can be both practical and visually striking.
The EcoClear team played a key role in the reuse and clearance strategy. They managed the relocation of Framery acoustic pods, coordinating the specialist dismantling, transport and reinstallation needed to protect their acoustic performance. Surplus furniture was donated to a local Scottish sports club, helping create a new Youth Hub for the community.
Delivering Lasting Value
Working to a tight programme, our project management and installation teams remained agile to keep the project on schedule. The completed workplace provides a welcoming setting for clients, supports collaboration and events, and has contributed to increased office occupancy, creating a destination where people choose to spend time together.
