Bordeaux is one of several European workplaces delivered as part of Sage’s evolving global workplace strategy. Alongside locations in Portugal, Spain, Germany and the UK, the project reflects a coordinated approach to creating consistent, brand led environments across multiple countries.
Riverside Setting
Designed by M Moser Associates, the Bordeaux office sits within the Quai Neuf development overlooking the Garonne River. The workplace responds to its riverside setting while maintaining the core design principles established across Sage’s wider European programme.
Programme Partnership
Tsunami Axis supported Sage as commercial furniture partner across the programme, working with project teams across a number of cities simultaneously. Maintaining a single delivery team across locations enabled lessons from earlier projects to inform later ones, strengthening coordination across supply chains and ensuring consistency in workplace standards.
Global Look and Feel
The Bordeaux workplace reflects Sage’s global look and feel through light filled interiors, natural materials and a calm green neutral palette. Standardised ergonomic furniture including desks, monitor arms and task seating from Humanscale provides a consistent experience for employees across the UK, Spain, France and Germany.
Local Expressions
Local expression remains an important part of the approach. French manufacturers were prioritised where possible, introducing regional nuance while maintaining alignment with Sage’s global aesthetic. An outdoor terrace and bespoke planters extend the workplace experience beyond the interior, creating a connection between the workspace and its surroundings.
The result is a workplace that reflects both its local context and Sage’s wider European identity.
