Before specifying anything new, we look at what’s already there. By designing around existing furniture and recovering whatever can’t be reused, we cut embodied carbon and material waste, and give clients evidence to prove it.
Design for Reuse begins before any furniture is specified. We assess existing assets, evaluate their condition and suitability, and work with clients, designers and project teams to see what can be retained, reconfigured or adapted within the new workplace. Only once those opportunities are exhausted do we specify new products, so every decision balances design intent, commercial value and environmental impact.
How We Work
Rethinking what
already exists.
Design for Reuse challenges the assumption that a new workplace means all-new furniture. Treating what you already own as a creative resource lowers embodied carbon, protects past investment and often gives a space more character than a catalogue fit-out ever could, with the data to evidence every decision.
