The Fourth Chapter: A Furniture Framework Across Wipro’s European Portfolio

Wiprotel in Frankfurt marks the fourth hospitality-led workspace delivered within a year across Wipro’s European portfolio, building on successful implementations in Stuttgart, Paris and London. The project demonstrates how a defined furniture framework can be applied across multiple locations — evolving in detail while maintaining clarity, cohesion and consistency.

Drawing on insights gained from the earlier sites, Tsunami Axis worked closely with Wipro’s European team alongside architects Jazzunique, to support furniture consultancy, product selection and full delivery and installation. This collaborative approach ensured the established principles translated effortlessly into the Frankfurt environment while responding to the specific needs of the space.

The result is a well-defined and disciplined furniture framework, a streamlined supplier strategy and a high level of control over programme, quality and finish. Wiprotel Frankfurt serves as a strong reference point for future locations — demonstrating how a clear yet adaptable furnishing concept can connect multiple sites while continuing to enhance the workplace experience.

A Defined Furniture Framework

Furniture plays a central role in shaping the hotel-inspired character of the space. Consistent task seating and work settings reinforce a recognisable identity across locations, while meeting suites and collaboration areas are elevated through bespoke upholstery, refined leather finishes and updated lounge and coffee table designs.

In Frankfurt, the signature boardroom table was refined with Athens Portoro marble, adding visual depth while maintaining continuity with the wider framework.

Local Expression, European Consistency

While the overall approach follows a 90% standardised / 10% local model, Frankfurt’s identity is expressed through bespoke architectural and joinery elements — including a contemporary interpretation of the city’s historic Wasserhäuschen kiosks.

This balance allows each location to feel grounded in place while remaining part of a wider European Wipro portfolio.

Material Integrity

Natural walnut finishes were carefully coordinated so that loose furniture and joinery read as one cohesive language. Client workshops played a key role in aligning fabrics, textures and finishes, ensuring the space felt tactile, intentional and premium throughout.

This level of material discipline was essential to maintaining consistency while allowing the framework to evolve.
