3 Days of Design returned to Copenhagen for its 13th edition, with the theme Make This Moment Matter encouraging brands to consider the lasting impact of design.

Across three days, the city became a platform for hundreds of exhibitions, installations and product launches. Rather than chasing novelty, many brands focused on creating products and environments with longevity, designing for atmosphere as much as function, and demonstrating how furniture can contribute to more meaningful experiences.

Our team spent three days exploring showrooms, exhibitions and installations across the city. Here’s what stood out.

Audo Copenhagen | Designing through atmosphere

Audo Copenhagen‘s Quiet Grandeur exhibition explored a calmer, more enduring vision of contemporary living, demonstrating how products can become part of a wider design experience rather than the focus themselves.

Seven new Audo Collection launches, including the Conrad Lounge Table, Eave Seamline Lounge Chair, Mauro Dining Chair, Penguin Wooden Lounge Chair, and Puffin Dining Table, were introduced alongside existing collections, creating spaces that felt calm, tactile and intentionally understated. Throughout Audo House, installations including the Cinema Room and cocktail bar extended that experience beyond the furniture, reinforcing the exhibition’s emphasis on atmosphere, hospitality and connection.

Alongside the new launches, Audo also celebrated the 90th anniversary of The Tired Man, reinforcing the lasting relevance of timeless design.

Fritz Hansen | Experiencing spaces through the senses

Rather than centring their exhibition around furniture, Fritz Hansen explored how sound, lighting and materials shape the way people experience space through the Sound Club, created in collaboration with Technics.

Set across a listening lounge, courtyard and flagship store, the exhibition explored how sound defines the character of a space, shaping the way we move through it, where we pause, and how we relate to our surroundings. It served as a reminder that workplace design is increasingly about creating environments that support comfort, concentration and wellbeing, not simply specifying furniture.

HAY | Designing for longevity

Occupying over 1,500sqm along Copenhagen’s canals, HAY‘s exhibition brought together past, current and upcoming designs within one immersive installation, temporarily removing products from their everyday contexts and placing them in conversation with one another.

Highlights included the Pack Chair, Mimi Sofa and Backflip Chair, alongside updates to the Chisel Collection, Tray Table and Mags Sofa, available from August 2026. HAY continues to refine and evolve its existing designs, an approach that reflects the growing emphasis on longevity and adaptability within commercial interiors.

Flokk | One exhibition, multiple perspectives

Rather than focusing on individual launches, Flokk’s Connecting the Dots exhibition framed how a multi-brand group brings together products from HÅG, Offecct and Connection to tell one cohesive story.

New pieces included the HÅG Minu, Offecct Font Meeting Chair and Connection Terrain, each responding to the increasing demand for flexible, collaborative environments. Together, they demonstrated how a family of brands can solve different workplace challenges while maintaining a consistent design philosophy.

A wider perspective

Elsewhere across Copenhagen, brands including Carl Hansen & Son, Vitra and &Tradition celebrated the enduring relevance of iconic design. Whether revisiting Hans J. Wegner classics or marking milestones in Verner Panton’s legacy, the focus remained on craftsmanship, thoughtful evolution and the lasting value of well-designed products.

Perhaps the strongest takeaway from this year’s festival was that good design doesn’t always need to shout. Across almost every showroom, longevity, material honesty and human experience took precedence over spectacle, reflecting a growing demand for products that deliver both immediate impact and long-term relevance.

Across the brands we visited, there was a clear focus on timeless, well-crafted products that deliver lasting commercial value, reflecting the priorities of today’s A&D community and their clients.
